Why RWCS?

The RWCS Professional Certification

The Registered Workers’ Compensation Specialist continuing education and professional certification program will benefit insurance industry professionals, risk managers, human resource personnel, and others who manage, administer, or sell workers’ compensation insurance. We are proud of the fact that many of our graduates come from a variety of industries outside of insurance and that the designation has a quality reputation among recruiting managers and business executives.

Unlike many other generalized insurance and human resource credentials, the Registered Workers’ Compensation Specialist® designation is a concentrated curriculum specific to the field of workers’ compensation- a full 12 hours of education and training. Additionally, the workers’ compensation certification is a complete package. In other words, there are no more modules to purchase or renewal fees to be paid.

Registered Workers’ Compensation Specialist Graduates include risk managers, safety managers, and insurance professionals from such prestigious companies as Accident Fund Insurance Company of America, City of Las Vegas, Gulfshore Insurance, Hunter Douglas, Johnson and Johnson, Missouri Employers Mutual,  MGM Resorts, Nestle, and Tyson Foods just to name a few.

The Registered Workers’ Compensation Specialist® designation is one of the nation’s only professional certifications for workers’ compensation registered with the United States Patent and Trademark Office. Serial No. 87208239
